Bengaluru: Woman meets man on dating app, later complains he impregnated and dumped her

A woman has lodged a complaint at the Madiwala Police Station, accusing a man, identified as Nihal Hussain, of raping her and exploiting her under false pretenses. According to the complainant, Hussain, whom she befriended in March this year via a dating app, invited her to a hotel for a party. Allegedly, he spiked her drink and sexually assaulted her.

The woman claims that after the incident, she discovered she was pregnant, and Hussain arranged for an abortion in May. When she later requested that he marry her, she alleges that he began to abuse and torture her emotionally.

However, in a surprising twist, preliminary police investigations have revealed that the woman had previously filed a similar case in 2023 against another man. This revelation has raised questions about the veracity of her claims, with police now expanding their investigation into both the current and past allegations.

Authorities are continuing to examine the situation to determine the facts, as the case unfolds. The police are urging anyone with information related to the incident to come forward while they continue their inquiries.
