An unusual scene unfolded in the city recently when a minor ticket dispute between a young woman passenger and a lady bus conductor escalated into a physical scuffle. The incident, which happened just days ago, has sparked concerns about passenger safety and the behaviour of transport staff.

According to eyewitnesses, the issue started inside the bus over a disagreement about the ticket and the passenger’s drop-off point. The young woman reportedly got off the bus at her stop and was standing on the roadside when the conductor, unwilling to let the matter go, also got down to confront her.
What followed shocked onlookers: instead of resolving the argument calmly, the lady conductor allegedly held the woman’s hand tightly and tried to drag her back onto the bus, repeatedly saying she wouldn’t “let her go.” Passengers say there was a heated verbal exchange between the two, with both raising their voices as traffic and pedestrians looked on.
Some commuters who witnessed the scene said it could have been avoided with better communication and a more respectful approach.
