A Bengaluru resident has sparked a discussion on social media after revealing she spends over Rs 16,000 per month on Uber, which is more than half of her monthly rent.
Vanshita, a local woman, shared her shocking transportation expenses in a recent post on X. Using a feature from the CRED app to track her spending, Vanshita discovered that between July 1 and 25, she had taken 74 Uber trips, costing her more than Rs 16,000.

One user suggested, "That's the only reason I bought a two-wheeler for myself here. Super convenient and don't have to think twice about going anywhere. And most important, don't have to deal with ride cancellation and high ride prices in the rain."
