In a shocking case of fraud, several women in Bengaluru have reportedly been duped of crores of rupees by a well-known salon chain named Perimeter. The salon, frequented by many women from affluent neighbourhoods, is now under police investigation after multiple FIRs were filed against its owners in various police stations across the city.

The accused, Raksha Harikaal Salva, Sunit Mehta, and an individual identified as Tiwari, allegedly lured customers, particularly homemakers, into making large financial investments by promising lucrative returns. Reports suggest that some individuals were convinced to invest Rs 30 to Rs 40 lakh each, believing they were entering into high-return partnerships or investment plans associated with the salon business.

The fraudulent scheme came to light after many investors, most of them women who visited the salon regularly, failed to receive promised returns or were unable to retrieve their investments. Several victims have now come forward, claiming that the salon owners exploited their trust and falsely assured them of safe, high-profit opportunities.

FIRs have been registered at Govindarajanagar, Talaghattapura, and with the Central Crime Branch (CCB). Despite these complaints, the accused have obtained interim relief from the Karnataka High Court, which has ordered the police not to take any coercive action against them for now.

While legal proceedings are underway, the victims, mostly women investors, continue to suffer financial distress, anxiously awaiting justice and recovery of their hard-earned money.
