In a shocking incident that has stirred public outrage, a group of men brutally assaulted a young man named Kushal, drawing disturbing parallels to the recent Renukaswamy murder case involving actor Darshan. The crime took place in a secluded area near Bengaluru and was reportedly carried out over a personal dispute involving a young woman.

According to police sources, Kushal, a college student, was previously in a relationship with a woman for over two years. The relationship ended a few months ago, after which the woman began seeing someone else. Unable to accept the breakup, Kushal allegedly sent her obscene messages. Angered by this, the woman and her current boyfriend, along with several friends, plotted revenge.

Under the pretext of discussing the issue calmly, they lured Kushal into a car, kidnapped him, and drove him to a deserted area. There, a group of around 8-10 young men assaulted him in a horrific manner. They stripped him naked, beat him mercilessly, and reportedly injured his private parts. Disturbingly, one of the attackers is heard in a video referencing the Renukaswamy case, saying, “Even this case will be like that.”

The attackers also recorded the assault and allegedly threatened to upload the video on social media. The incident has sparked comparisons to the brutal celebrity-linked crime that shocked Karnataka recently.

A case has been registered at Soladevanahalli Police Station. Four accused, Hemanth, Yashwanth, Shivashankar, and Shashank Gowda have been arrested.

Further investigation is ongoing.
