Sandalwood actor Yuva Rajkumar, who turned a year older today, chose to forgo his birthday celebrations in a heartfelt tribute to the victims of a terrorist attack in Kashmir’s Pahalgam.

"The killing of innocent civilians is utterly condemnable. The perpetrators must be punished, and the government must act decisively to prevent such tragedies," Yuva Rajkumar said, expressing his grief and solidarity.
Adding to the day's subdued mood, the release of the much-anticipated teaser of Ekka, originally scheduled for today as a birthday treat for fans, was postponed. Producer Karthik Gowda confirmed the delay, stating in a tweet that the teaser would now be released later in the evening.
Yuva also recalled his own experiences filming in Kashmir and Ladakh for his upcoming youth-centric film. “We shot a song in Ladakh. There was heavy army presence and everything was peaceful. We never imagined something like this could happen,” he shared.
The actor’s gesture has struck an emotional chord with fans, many of whom praised his sensitivity and patriotism on social media.
