77th Republic Day celebrated at GBA headquarters, Commissioner Maheshwar Rao hoists national flag

Republic Day celebrations were held at the GBA central office, with senior officials paying floral tributes to Mahatma Gandhi and Dr. B.R. Ambedkar.

Marking the 77th Republic Day, a formal celebration was held at the GBA Central Office premises, reflecting the spirit of patriotism and constitutional values.

The programme began with GBA Commissioner Maheshwar Rao hoisting the national flag in the presence of senior officials and staff members. The flag hoisting marked the official commencement of the Republic Day observance at the office campus.

Following the ceremony, officials paid floral tributes to the portraits of Mahatma Gandhi and Bharat Ratna Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, remembering their invaluable contribution to India’s freedom movement and the framing of the Constitution.

Several senior officers were present during the celebrations. Special Commissioners Munish Maudgil and Dr. K. Harish Kumar attended the event, along with Girisha, Additional Director of the Urban Planning Division. Joint Commissioner Smt. Lakshmidevi and Administrative Deputy Commissioner Ravindra were also among the dignitaries who took part in the programme.
