The CCB began investigating after the videos surfaced, suspecting that they were recorded and leaked by individuals with inside access. Preliminary inquiries led police to believe that actor Dhanveer, known to be a close associate of actor Darshan, may have been involved in releasing or circulating the videos online.
According to sources, CCB officials have taken Dhanveer into custody for detailed questioning to determine his role in spreading the footage and to trace how the recordings were made within the high-security facility. Investigators are also examining whether any prison officials facilitated the making or leaking of the videos in exchange for favours.
