Air India Express is set to expand its operations with the launch of three new routes starting October 27, 2025. The airline will introduce services to Kuwait, Jeddah, and Riyadh from Bengaluru, operating three times a week on all three routes using Boeing 737 MAX-8 aircraft. This launch coincides with the airline's winter 2025 schedule.

Services to Kuwait, Jeddah, and Riyadh from Bengaluru
Kuwait Service (IX 870/871)
The new Kuwait route will operate on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays, with departures from Bengaluru at 10:20 PM and arrivals in Kuwait at 12:50 AM the following day. The return flight will depart Kuwait at 01:50 AM, reaching Bengaluru at 09:20 AM. This schedule is designed for business travelers, offering a full day in Bengaluru before departure, although the early morning arrival in Bengaluru might not be ideal for all passengers.
Jeddah Service (IX 939/940)
Targeting the religious travel market, the Jeddah route will operate on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Sundays. The flight will leave Bengaluru at 5:25 AM and arrive in Jeddah at 9:10 AM. The return service will depart Jeddah at 10:10 AM and reach Bengaluru at 6:20 PM, providing a comfortable arrival time for passengers.
Riyadh Service (IX 895/896)
Flights to Riyadh will be available on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, departing Bengaluru at 11:45 AM and arriving in Riyadh at 3:05 PM. Return flights will leave Riyadh at 4:05 PM and reach Bengaluru at 11:30 PM, ideal for business travelers seeking midday departures and regular business-hour arrivals. The new service reinstates a vital connection to Riyadh, which was temporarily suspended during the pandemic.
