Police Commissioner personally monitors probe as shocking details emerge about organised party networks, mobile evidence, blackmail tactics, and influential connections behind the Amruthahalli gang rape case.

The Amruthahalli gang rape case has taken a dramatic turn with Bengaluru Police uncovering shocking details involving organised party networks, mobile evidence, blackmail operations, and possible links to influential individuals. The case is being personally monitored by Police Commissioner Seemanth Kumar Singh, who has taken serious note of the gravity and sensitivity of the investigation.

According to investigators, several strong suspicions have surfaced in the preliminary probe. One of the key accused, Nikhil, is reportedly a resident of the Basaveshwaranagar police station limits, yet he chose to file a complaint at Malleshwaram police station before his arrest. Police are now questioning why Malleshwaram was chosen and whether the move was strategic or advised by someone.

Before being detained by Amruthahalli police, Nikhil had lodged a complaint at Malleshwaram police station, accusing the victim and another individual of attempting to blackmail him for money and threatening defamation. He even submitted photographic evidence from his mobile phone. During questioning, however, Nikhil claimed that his mobile phone was under repair, which police suspect was an attempt to mislead the investigation.

Investigators have now seized the mobile phones of all accused and are thoroughly analysing WhatsApp chats, call records, data usage patterns, and deleted files. The focus is also on party arrangements, including where parties were hosted earlier, who attended them, and how participants were recruited.

Villa Link and High-Level Connections

The alleged crime reportedly took place at a villa in Jakkur, owned by a senior IPS officer, which was rented out through an online BNB platform. Police confirmed that Nikhil had booked the villa online, where the assault allegedly occurred. Senior officials have gathered detailed information from investigating officers regarding this sensitive angle.

Further probe has revealed that some influential personalities were allegedly in contact with Nikhil, intensifying scrutiny around the case.

‘Sugar Daddy - Sugar Baby’ Party Network Exposed

Police investigation has uncovered a disturbing “sugar daddy – sugar baby” party system. In this setup, women below 25 years were identified as ‘sugar babies’, while men above 45 were referred to as ‘sugar daddies’ using coded passwords. Nikhil allegedly organised multiple such parties, where businessmen, influential individuals, and senior officials are suspected to have participated.

Young women were reportedly lured with money, luxury shopping, travel, and party expenses. If they refused, private photos and videos were allegedly used to blackmail them. Police say that alcohol was used to intoxicate women, after which private visuals were secretly recorded.

The Jakkur villa allegedly served as a central location for recruiting women, where men from other states were paid to approach and persuade young women. Once convinced, separate parties were hosted at various locations, including reputed hotels in Bengaluru.

Growing Pressure After Arrest

After Nikhil’s arrest, investigators say that panic has spread among individuals involved in the sugar daddy network. Police are now preparing a detailed list of suspected participants, and further arrests are likely.

The investigation is progressing under direct supervision of the Police Commissioner, with a strong focus on digital evidence, party logistics, financial transactions, and high-profile links, making this one of the most sensitive criminal probes currently underway in Bengaluru.
