The lungs were harvested from a donor at a hospital in Yeshwanthpur and taken to the Goraguntepalya Metro Station. Despite the heavy morning crowd, the medical team carefully carried the preserved organ onto the train. The journey continued from Yeshwanthpur to R.V. Road station on the Green Line, then onto the Yellow Line toward Bommasandra, finally reaching Narayana Health City efficiently and safely.
This 30-33 km journey, which could have taken hours by road due to Bengaluru’s notorious traffic, was completed swiftly thanks to the seamless coordination between Narayana Health’s transplant team and BMRCL.
