In a crucial meeting held at the City Police Commissioner’s office, Seemanth Kumar Singh, the Bengaluru Police Commissioner engaged with ambassadors from 12 different countries to discuss a range of important security issues. The meeting centered on enhancing police assistance in emergency situations and streamlining communication between local law enforcement and foreign diplomatic missions.

A key point of the discussion was the instruction for all ambassadors to share their office and residential addresses with the local police to improve response times during emergencies. Additionally, the Commissioner emphasized the importance of informing the DCP Intelligence and the Command Center about diplomatic meetings and events in advance. This will ensure better protection and smoother traffic management around such gatherings.
Legal assistance to foreign nationals
The Commissioner also urged embassies to provide details about foreign nationals residing within the state. This information will be vital in offering prompt legal assistance to foreign nationals when required.
