Companies in these zones are expected to rely heavily on backup power systems. Industrial units and offices without sufficient backup may need to adjust work schedules to minimise disruption.
In addition to the December 23 outage, BESCOM has announced daytime power cuts from December 25 to 28, 2025. Electricity supply will be switched off daily from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm in several neighbourhoods of the Attibele and Anekal zones as part of a four-day maintenance programme.
