Until now, e-Khata applications were handled through the official web portal and Bengaluru One centres. With the new mobile app, property owners, or their authorised representatives, can submit applications directly via their smartphones.

Munish Moudgil, Special Commissioner of Revenue, clarified that the mobile version is an extension of the existing web platform.
To complete the process, applicants must upload crucial details such as the property sale deed number, tax receipt, Aadhaar number, mobile number, encumbrance certificate (Form-15), property photograph, location details, and Bescom bill number.
