Bidadi Industrial Area named India’s ‘Infrastructure Champion’ at FICCI Swachh Industrial Park Awards 2025

KIADB’s 1,490.65-acre Bidadi Industrial Area ranks among India’s top government industrial parks after winning the Infrastructure Champion Award at the FICCI Swachh Industrial Park Awards 2025.

The Bidadi Industrial Area in Ramanagara district has secured national recognition after being declared an Infrastructure Champion in the government parks category at the FICCI Swachh Industrial Park Awards 2025. Developed by the Karnataka Industrial Areas Development Board (KIADB), the 1,490.65-acre industrial zone was selected as one of the top-performing government industrial parks in the country.

The industrial area earned its place after undergoing a rigorous evaluation by FICCI, which assessed 130 industrial parks across 18 states. The assessment included multiple stages such as documentation checks, on-ground inspections and infrastructure audits. Bidadi Industrial Area stood out for its well-planned road network, dedicated parks and buffer zones, and strong integration of essential utilities within the estate.

The evaluation highlighted the park’s emphasis on environmental sustainability, operational efficiency and infrastructure quality, placing it among India’s most organised and cleanly managed industrial ecosystems. As part of the award selection, the industrial area demonstrated compliance with modern planning standards and showcased efficient land-use strategies.
