BMTC launches metro feeder MF-10B (Tin Factory–Bidarahalli) and route 228D (KR Market–Nithyanandanagar), each with one bus and fixed daily timings
Bengaluru Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) has rolled out two new routes aimed at improving connectivity for commuters in the city.
The first service, Metro Feeder Route MF-10B, will link Tin Factory with Bidarahalli. The bus will travel through TC Palya Cross, Kittaganaru and the East Point College back gate, providing better access to residential and educational areas. Only one bus will operate on this route daily, with departures scheduled from Tin Factory at 8:50 am, 10:50 am, 12:25 pm, 2:00 pm, 4:00 pm and 5:35 pm. From Bidarahalli, trips are set at 8:00 am, 10:00 am, 11:35 am, 1:10 pm, 3:13 pm and 4:45 pm.

In addition, BMTC has launched a new service on Route 228D, connecting KR Market and Nithyanandanagar. The bus will pass through Sirsi Circle, Kengeri TTMC, Kumbalgodu, Thagachaguppe and Nalku Kamba. One bus has been deployed for this corridor. Timings from KR Market are 6:40 am, 2:40 pm, 5:45 pm and 8:45 pm. From Kengeri TTMC, trips are listed at 8:40 am, 5:30 pm, 7:55 pm, 9:30 pm, 4:25 pm and 7:10 pm, though BMTC notes some variations in sequence.
These additions are expected to ease travel for commuters in eastern and southwestern Bengaluru, offering more direct connections to key hubs.
