In a move aimed at reducing peak-hour traffic pressure and strengthening last-mile connectivity on the Yellow Line, the Bengaluru Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) has launched four dedicated Metro feeder bus services connecting Anekal Bus Stand with Delta Electronics Bommasandra Metro Station.
The services commenced operations on Monday and are designed to provide smooth and reliable connectivity for metro commuters travelling to and from surrounding residential and commercial areas. The initiative has been rolled out in coordination with the Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) as part of efforts to improve integration between bus and metro networks.

According to an official release, the feeder buses will operate on the Anekal Bus Stand-Delta Electronics Bommasandra Metro Station route, passing through key locations including Chikkahagade Cross, Iggaluru and Chandapura. These areas have witnessed rising commuter demand due to expanding residential layouts and industrial activity.
The feeder services will run throughout the day, covering both peak and non-peak hours, with frequent trips scheduled from early morning until late evening. Transport officials said the all-day operation is intended to offer dependable connectivity for office-goers, students and daily commuters using the Yellow Line.
