Expansion of Vajra AC services from Kempegowda Bus Station and Banashankari brings improved connectivity, fixed fares and daily, weekly pass options for commuters.
In a major relief for daily commuters, the Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) has expanded its premium Vajra AC bus services by introducing 14 new buses connecting Bengaluru with Ramanagara and Kanakapura.
From the Kempegowda Bus Station, popularly known as Majestic, Vajra AC buses will now operate to Ramanagara. In addition, services have been extended from Banashankari to Kanakapura.

On the Majestic-Ramanagara stretch, buses will operate under Route Number V-EX-RMN-1. A total of six buses have been deployed on this route. These buses are scheduled to complete 36 trips daily, ensuring frequent and reliable connectivity for passengers.
Fare Structure Details
BMTC has announced a clear fare chart for passengers travelling on the Majestic–Ramanagara route:
• From Majestic to MRBS - ₹25
• From Majestic to Nayandahalli - ₹35
• Up to Rajarajeshwari Nagar (RR Nagar) Gate - ₹40
• To Kengeri - ₹45
• To NICE Road Junction- ₹50
• From Majestic to the final stop Ramanagara - ₹95

For passengers travelling on the Banashankari-Kanakapura route, the ticket fare has been fixed at ₹85.
BMTC has also introduced pass options for regular travellers. The daily pass, inclusive of GST, is priced at ₹180. For commuters who travel frequently during the week, a weekly pass has been fixed at ₹1,000.
