A Class 9 boy, missing for three days, was found dead in an uncovered BWSS pipeline chamber on Kanakapura Road, sparking outrage over negligence
A tragic incident has been reported on Kanakapura Road in Bengaluru, where a Class 9 student lost his life after falling into an open concrete chamber linked to ongoing Water Board pipeline work.
The victim, identified as Pritham, had been missing for three days. His family and local residents launched a search after noticing a foul smell near the pipeline stretch. On closer inspection, his body was found floating inside the chamber, confirming their worst fears.
According to residents, the chamber was left uncovered during the delayed pipeline project, posing a serious safety hazard. The boy is believed to have accidentally slipped into the structure while passing through the area.
