The 11-day exhibition brings a Lalbagh-style floral experience to Cubbon Park, featuring 50,000 flower pots, rare Indian and foreign blooms, and a walkway from the JC Wadiyar statue to Bal Bhavan.

Cubbon Park is set to welcome visitors to its first-ever flower show, an 11-day exhibition scheduled from tomorrow until December 7. Organised by the Horticulture Department, the event brings a Lalbagh-style floral experience to the heart of the city for the very first time.

This new annual initiative has been planned as part of Children’s Day and Kannada Rajyotsava celebrations. While Lalbagh traditionally hosts its renowned flower shows during Independence Day and Republic Day, the government has decided to establish a similar yearly tradition at Cubbon Park as well.

According to event arrangements, over 50,000 flower pots have been prepared by private participants and the Horticulture Department. The exhibition includes a wide range of Indian and international flower varieties, with themed displays created using multiple types of blooms.

The viewing stretch has been organised from the Jayachamarajendra Wadiyar statue up to the Bal Bhavan area, providing visitors with a dedicated pathway to explore the floral installations. The show will remain open each day from 6 am to 7 pm.

Entry charges have been fixed at ₹50 for adults and ₹10 for children. School students will be given free entry, making the event accessible for educational visits and group tours.
