23-year-old allegedly misused her phone to take private images of sleeping family members and sent them to her boyfriend; police register case and begin probe.
A deeply disturbing incident has come to light in Bengaluru, where a 23-year-old woman is accused of secretly taking private photographs of her own mother and aunt while they were asleep and sharing them with her lover. The case, reported from the Byatrayanapura police station limits, has sparked outrage and concern.
According to the complaint, the young woman had initially requested a mobile phone from her parents, stating it was needed for her studies. About a month ago, her mother noticed her frequently speaking to an unknown young man over the phone. When questioned, the daughter refused to hand over the mobile and did not share the password.
Over time, her behaviour reportedly changed drastically, raising suspicion within the family. After repeated requests, the father convinced her to hand over the phone along with the password. When the mother checked the device, she was shocked to discover the truth.

The young woman had allegedly taken private photographs of her mother and aunt while they were sleeping and sent those images to her lover. When confronted, she is said to have insisted that she wanted to marry the man and defended her actions.
The mother managed to get the images deleted immediately. However, deeply distressed by the misuse of private moments and concerned about family dignity, she approached the Byatrayanapura police station and filed a formal complaint against her daughter and the boyfriend, demanding strict legal action.
Police have registered a case and launched a detailed investigation. Officials said they are examining digital evidence and questioning those involved.
