During the inspection, the DCM examined the progress of station construction and pillar work. He was accompanied by Metro Managing Director Ravishankar and GBA Administrator Tushar Girinath, who briefed him on the status of the project.
The DCM expressed strong dissatisfaction after observing delays at the Jakkur stretch. He questioned the BMRCL team about the prolonged lag and warned them that such inefficiency could justify filing an FIR. He instructed officials to accelerate the pending work and restore public confidence in the project.

The inspection comes amid political criticism that development activities had taken a backseat during recent internal disputes. With tensions easing, the DCM now appears focused on speeding up infrastructure works and ensuring timely execution.
The intensified push is expected to bring much-needed momentum to the Bengaluru Metro expansion, offering hope for faster completion and smoother city travel in the coming months.
