A private hospital doctor was allegedly harassed by an unidentified biker outside her PG in Chikkabanavara’s AGB Layout on December 17; Soladevanahalli police have now arrested the accused.
A case of harassment against a woman doctor has been reported from Bengaluru, leading to the arrest of the accused by Soladevanahalli police.
According to police, the incident took place on December 17 at AGB Layout in Chikkabanavara. The victim, a doctor working at a private hospital on Hesaraghatta Road, was returning to her paying guest (PG) accommodation after completing her duty.
As she reached the PG, an unidentified man arrived on a motorcycle and stopped near the entrance. Police said the man behaved obscenely and began harassing the doctor. He allegedly used indecent gestures and attempted to touch her, causing distress.

When the doctor resisted and started screaming for help, the accused immediately fled the spot on his bike. The victim later approached the police and filed a complaint against the unknown person who had tried to molest her.
Based on the complaint, an FIR was registered at the Soladevanahalli police station. Following an investigation, police traced and arrested the accused involved in the incident.
Police officials confirmed that the case pertains to harassment and an attempt to outrage the modesty of the woman. Further legal procedures are underway.
