An intoxicated passenger caused major chaos on Akasa Air flight QP 1599 from Bengaluru to Delhi on October 20, 2025. Sources report the individual consumed alcohol during boarding and refused to sit when instructed by crew members.

The passenger first got into a spat with fellow travelers and then confronted the cabin crew. When asked to alight from the aircraft, he refused to comply, leading to a tense situation. Security personnel, including CISF, were called to the scene, and the passenger had to be physically removed from the plane.

A video of the crew struggling to remove the passenger has gone viral, showing the chaotic moments before the flight could depart. Despite the disruption, the flight eventually took off for Delhi after the passenger was safely removed. Sources confirmed that proceedings have been initiated to place the individual on the no-fly list.

An Akasa Air spokesperson stated, “An incident of unruly behaviour involving a passenger took place on Akasa Air flight QP 1599 operating from Bengaluru to Delhi on October 20, 2025. Our crew followed the required safety protocols in line with our policies to ensure the safety and comfort of our passengers. We stand firm on our zero-tolerance policies against unruly passenger behaviour.”
