When asked to pay the fine, he refused and allegedly argued that officers should have stopped him before parking. Matters escalated quickly when his female friend intervened, hurling vulgar words and shouting at the policemen on duty.
The verbal assault, captured in the FIR copy, led to immediate action. Both the man and woman were arrested, and a case was registered under relevant sections for obstructing and abusing police personnel.
The incident has drawn sharp reactions online after Bengaluru City Police shared a cautionary post on social media. In their message, BCP reminded citizens that shouting at police doesn’t make one a hero, vulgar words and threats can instead earn a “VIP pass” straight to the station.
