At present, the Yellow Line operates with four trains, running at an interval of 19 minutes. Once the fifth train is introduced, the interval will be reduced to 15 minutes, ensuring quicker and more convenient travel for passengers.
According to BMRCL sources, the new train has successfully completed all safety and technical tests and is ready for public service. The final phase of technical trials is currently underway, and officials have confirmed to NewsFirst that operations will begin on November 1.

The Yellow Line, connecting RV Road to Bommasandra, was inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on August 10. Initially, only three trains operated on the route with a 25-minute gap between services. A fourth train was added on September 10, bringing the frequency down to 19 minutes.
With the fifth train joining the fleet this month, passengers can look forward to shorter waiting times and smoother metro operations, a timely improvement coinciding with Karnataka Rajyotsava celebrations.
