Bengaluru police unravel chilling kidnapping plot linked to financial conflict around unreleased Kannada film ‘Jeevanada Bhashe’
In a shocking incident that has rocked the Sandalwood film industry, the director of the Kannada film ‘Jeevanada Bhashe’, Aneesh, was kidnapped, illegally detained, and brutally assaulted following a financial dispute linked to his unreleased movie. Bengaluru’s Adugodi police have arrested 11 accused, including actress Aishwarya, also known as Ash Melo, in connection with the crime.
According to the police investigation, tensions had been brewing between the film’s investors and the production team as the movie was yet to be released. Amid this ongoing dispute, director Anish reportedly planned to sell his car to manage financial pressures. He shared this information with actress Aishwarya, who was associated with the project.

Investigators say this critical information was passed on to a group of accused, who allegedly plotted the kidnapping. Acting on the tip-off, the group abducted Aneesh and initially confined him inside a house in Byadarahalli, where he was placed under illegal detention and physically assaulted.
The ordeal did not end there. The accused later took the director to Mandaragiri Hill, where he was allegedly subjected to severe and repeated assaults, causing both physical and mental trauma. The motive, police say, was to extract money and settle the financial dispute forcefully.

Following a complaint, Adugodi police swiftly registered a kidnapping case and launched a detailed investigation. Acting on precise intelligence, the police traced the victim, rescued him safely, and arrested all 11 individuals involved in the crime. Actress Aishwarya, identified as a key link in the chain of events, was also taken into custody.
Police officials confirmed that all accused are being subjected to intensive interrogation to uncover the full sequence of events, financial links, and the exact role played by each person in the conspiracy.
