His journey began in 1994 with a Maruti 800, bought when he was 25 years old for ₹1.10 lakh. After using it for several years, he upgraded to other cars, selling it in the process. Recently, after 27 years, he traced the same car, which had been abandoned by its current owner, and repurchased it for ₹10 lakh, ten times the original price. This story went viral after Roy shared it on social media, highlighting the sentimental value of his first car.
