The urgency follows multiple civic complaints and high-profile incidents, including logistics startup BlackBuck vacating its Bellandur office citing poor roads, traffic congestion, and civic issues, as well as a recent school bus mishap on Panathur Main Road where a bus carrying 20 children got trapped in a pothole. These incidents sparked outrage among parents, commuters, and citizens, pushing Deputy Chief Minister D K Shivakumar to set a November deadline for contractors to fix city roads.
