The road is designed to alleviate congestion on one of Bengaluru’s busiest airport routes. It spans approximately 10 metres in width, featuring a 2.5-metre utility duct and a 1.5-km drainage line, ensuring both traffic management and infrastructure safety.
Traffic authorities are coordinating with KSRTC and private bus operators to track the number of additional buses expected during the festive period, allowing better planning of traffic flow and reducing bottlenecks.
The new service road is expected to provide relief to commuters, office-goers, and festival travelers, while also improving accessibility and minimizing travel delays. With this development, authorities aim to prevent congestion and ensure safer and smoother travel for all road users during peak festival hours.
