A police escort vehicle crashed into a cement slab near Rayarapally in Nelamangala taluk while trying to avoid an unidentified person, triggering a chain accident involving an Innova Crysta. The police driver suffered serious injuries.
A road accident involving a convoy escorting a High Court judge took place on the Bengaluru-Tumakuru National Highway. The incident occurred near Rayarapally in Nelamangala taluk, causing tension for a brief period on the busy highway.
According to preliminary information, the accident happened while police were escorting the vehicle in which the High Court judge was travelling.
Reports indicate that an unidentified person suddenly came in front of the police escort vehicle. In an attempt to avoid hitting the individual, the driver lost control and the vehicle crashed into a cement slab on the roadside.
The sudden manoeuvre led to a collision that triggered further impact involving another vehicle travelling behind. Following the crash into the cement slab, an Innova Crysta car hit the police escort vehicle from behind. The rear-end collision caused significant damage to the police vehicle.

The impact left the driver of the police vehicle seriously injured. After the accident, the injured driver was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment. Doctors are currently attending to him as he sustained serious injuries in the crash.
Despite the accident involving the escort vehicle, the High Court judge and others travelling in the judge’s car escaped without harm. They were reported to be safe and out of danger.
Soon after the incident, officials from the Nelamangala Traffic Police reached the accident spot. They inspected the scene and began collecting details about how the accident unfolded.
