UbuCon events are volunteer-run, community-focused conferences that aim to foster collaboration and knowledge sharing. Unlike corporate-driven showcases, these conferences provide a platform for grassroots discussions, making them unique in their focus on inclusivity and open collaboration.
Event will be held at Indian Institute of Science in Bengaluru
Set for November 15-16, 2025, the event will be held at the prestigious Indian Institute of Science in Bengaluru. Attendees can look forward to sessions covering a range of topics, including desktop environments, cloud infrastructure, IoT, AI, and FOSS documentation. The aim is not only to highlight the latest advancements in Ubuntu and related technologies but also to build a strong, India-based community around them.
As the first of its kind in India, UbuCon India 2025 promises to be an exciting milestone for the local tech community, strengthening the FOSS movement and offering valuable insights into the future of open-source technologies. Registration for the event is now open.
