Karnataka is actively pursuing international partnerships to establish a $20-billion quantum economy by 2035, positioning Bengaluru as a global leader in quantum technology. The State's ambitious plans were highlighted at the Swissnex Quantum Summit 2025 in Geneva, where N.S. Boseraju, Minister for Minor Irrigation, Science and Technology, called on global innovators, research institutions, and industries to join Karnataka's quantum revolution.

In addition, Boseraju highlighted the success of the Quantum India Summit 2025, which attracted over 2,000 researchers, entrepreneurs, and Nobel laureates. Karnataka's government, under Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and Deputy CM D.K. Shivakumar, has pledged ₹1,000 crore to further quantum development, alongside land for the proposed "Q-City" — a dedicated hub for research, manufacturing, and innovation. International delegates at the Geneva summit expressed strong interest in Karnataka’s growing prominence in the quantum space.
