Major power outage across North Bengaluru today due to emergency BESCOM works

Emergency maintenance at the 220/66/11 kV Hebbal substation has led to a scheduled power interruption across several residential and commercial areas from late morning to evening.

Several neighbourhoods in Bengaluru experienced a planned power outage today following emergency operation and maintenance works undertaken by BESCOM. The interruption falls under the jurisdiction of the 220/66/11 kV Hebbal substation and is part of urgent grid management activities.

Electricity supply has been disrupted from 11:00 am to 5:30 pm today, impacting both residential and commercial zones. The outage has been implemented to safely carry out essential maintenance and prevent larger technical failures.
