Elderly woman attacked with stones and wooden logs after questioning pet owners over deliberate defecation by their dog outside her home and shop in Jnanabharathi limits.

A dispute over a pet dog led to a shocking attack on a 66-year-old woman in Bengaluru, prompting police to register a case against three persons. The incident occurred within the jurisdiction of the Jnanabharathi Police Station, where an FIR has now been filed based on the victim’s complaint.

The injured woman, identified as Parvathi, was reportedly sitting in front of her house and a nearby shop when a pet dog was allegedly brought deliberately to the spot and made to defecate and urinate. According to the complaint, the dog owner intentionally allowed the animal to relieve itself in the same place repeatedly, causing severe inconvenience and distress.

When Parvathi objected and questioned the behaviour, the situation quickly escalated. She was allegedly assaulted with stones and wooden sticks by the accused. The attack left her injured, and she was immediately shifted to a private hospital for treatment. Doctors recorded a Medico-Legal Case (MLC) before informing the police.

Following medical treatment, Parvathi approached the Jnanabharathi Police Station, where a formal complaint was lodged. Based on her statement and preliminary findings, the police registered an FIR against three individuals in connection with the assault.
