A shocking crime unfolded early morning in KAS Colony near Silk Board, Bangalore, where a 65-year-old woman was allegedly murdered, and the accused domestic worker was found dead inside the house.

In a horrifying incident that has shaken Bangalore, a 65-year-old woman was allegedly murdered inside her home in KAS Colony near Silk Board. The crime reportedly occurred in the early hours of the morning and came to light around 4:30 am today.

According to police sources, the accused, a 50-year-old man named Devaraju, who worked as a domestic helper at the residence, was found hanging in the same house. Authorities are currently investigating whether he acted alone in committing the crime or if there were others involved.

The victim’s husband had been in Dubai and returned to Bangalore early today. The family’s 27-year-old daughter was present in the house during the incident. She was on the first floor in her room when someone rang the doorbell, and the tragic events unfolded while she remained inside.

Mico Layout police have registered the case under their jurisdiction and dispatched a Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) team to the scene. Both the victim and the domestic worker’s bodies have been sent for post-mortem examination. Joint Police Commissioner Ramesh Banoth confirmed that the FSL team conducted a detailed inspection of the house to gather evidence and piece together the sequence of events.

Initial reports suggest the crime involved sexual assault, though investigators are continuing to gather information to confirm the exact nature and motive behind the act. The police have received complaints from the victim’s family and are carrying out a thorough investigation, examining all angles to determine whether the domestic worker acted alone or if others played a role in the murder.
