  • Social media allegations termed false
  • Clients assured of project continuity

Managing Director TA Joseph dismisses social media allegations, challenges accusers to produce proof, and assures clients that all projects will continue as planned.

Amid widespread social media speculation linking the alleged suicide of Confident Group chairman CJ Roy to financial fraud, the company’s Managing Director TA Joseph has firmly rejected these claims, calling them baseless and deeply hurtful.

In a video statement released on Thursday, Joseph said several social media platforms, especially YouTube channels, were spreading false narratives accusing the company of fraud, scams, and possession of black money without presenting any evidence. He stated that such irresponsible content has caused immense pain to Roy’s grieving family.

“People are speaking as if they are part of our board or from investigating agencies. From our chairman to our security staff, everyone worked honestly to build this company. There is no black money here, and we have never misused investors’ funds,” Joseph said.

He emotionally appealed to content creators and social media users to stop circulating unverified claims, stressing that the family and colleagues of the deceased are already going through immense emotional trauma. “The head of a family is no more, and some people are feeding on that tragedy. Please stop this. Do not believe these false stories,” he urged.

Joseph also openly challenged those making allegations to produce concrete proof. “If anyone has real evidence, they are welcome to show it. Do not pretend to be investigators. These accusations are completely untrue,” he added.

While Roy operated primarily from Bengaluru, Joseph oversaw the company’s operations in Kerala. Addressing concerns among homebuyers and investors, he clarified that the temporary halt in work following Roy’s death was due to staff attending the funeral. He assured that construction activities would resume fully and that no customer would suffer any financial loss.

“Work stopped briefly only because of the funeral. Our clients should not worry. Not even a single rupee will be lost,” Joseph said, reaffirming the company’s commitment to deliver projects as promised.
