TiE Bangalore has announced a strategic collaboration with Career247, a venture of Adda Education, to take entrepreneurship and technology-focused learning beyond India’s metros and into smaller towns. The partnership aims to address the imbalance in startup education, where access to mentorship, structured programs, and networks has largely remained concentrated in major cities.

India today hosts more than 1.5 lakh registered startups, making it the world’s third-largest startup hub. However, Tier 2 and Tier 3 regions remain underserved, with aspiring founders often lacking exposure to entrepreneurial knowledge and practical skills. The new alliance seeks to bridge this divide by creating programs tailored for youth, women, and early-stage entrepreneurs outside metros.
Multiple initiatives over the next two months
The collaboration will roll out multiple initiatives over the next two months. A flagship program titled AI for Women Entrepreneurs will help women-led businesses explore and apply artificial intelligence for growth and efficiency. In addition, Entrepreneurship and AI Hubs will be established across Tier 2, Tier 3, and Tier 4 towns, combining live classroom learning with vernacular-friendly digital resources. Colleges and universities will also see the launch of Centres of Excellence in Entrepreneurship, AI, and Emerging Tech to prepare students for future careers and entrepreneurial opportunities.
TiE Bangalore and Career247 further plan to contribute as knowledge partners in government projects aimed at boosting entrepreneurship and technology adoption nationwide. The initiatives are expected to reach lakhs of learners in the first year, setting the stage for inclusive and scalable entrepreneurial growth across Bharat.
