UGC has flagged Bengaluru’s Global Human Peace University as fake. It lacks UGC/AICTE recognition, and its degrees are invalid for higher studies or jobs
The University Grants Commission (UGC) has issued a circular declaring Bengaluru’s Global Human Peace University as a fake institution, cautioning students and parents against seeking admission there.
Located at #1035, 4th Block, near Golden Heights on Dr. Rajkumar Road in Rajajinagar, the university has been found to be operating without recognition under Section 2(f) or Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956. It is also not approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) or any other statutory authority.

According to the UGC, the institution has been awarding degrees and diplomas in violation of the law. As a result, any qualification issued by the university is invalid for higher education or government employment. The commission emphasized that such unauthorized practices can seriously jeopardize the academic and professional future of students.
The announcement was made as part of UGC’s ongoing effort to raise awareness about unrecognized institutions across India. The regulator urged the public to remain vigilant and verify the authenticity of universities before enrolling.
By listing Global Human Peace University among its roster of fake universities, the UGC reinforced its commitment to protecting students from fraudulent educational practices and ensuring that only recognized institutions are allowed to grant valid degrees.
