Youths are performing dangerous motorcycle wheelies on the empty Silk Board double-decker flyover during construction, sparking widespread public outrage
The newly constructed double-decker flyover connecting Silk Board to RagiguddaSilk Board junction, has become the latest hotspot for a dangerous trend, drawing widespread public outrage. With the final stage of construction currently underway at the Silk Board junction, regular vehicular movement remains restricted, leaving the elevated corridor largely empty. Taking advantage of this traffic-free road, groups of youths have started using the stretch to perform dangerous motorcycle stunts.
These ‘wheeling hooligans’ are reportedly gathering on the empty double-decker road to perform wheelies and other reckless maneuvers. Because the double-decker traffic is not yet free-flowing due to the pending civil work at Silk Board, the isolated stretch has inadvertently become a haven for these miscreants. Their reckless behavior and the loud fuss they are making on the flyover have raised serious safety and security concerns.
The dangerous antics have sparked strong criticism against the wheeling boys from local residents and daily commuters. Citizens are expressing extreme frustration over the lack of barricades or security preventing unauthorized access to the flyover. Many are demanding immediate police intervention to crack down on these hooligans. Authorities are being urged to secure the entry points until the final stage of work is completed and the vital corridor is officially opened.
