Bengaluru:DK Shivakumar takes a tumble during cycling at Vidhana Soudha, laughs it off

Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar, popularly known as DKS, drew unexpected attention during a casual cycling session inside the Vidhana Soudha premises on Monday morning. The senior Congress leader had decided to take a brief ride around the iconic government building, aiming to promote eco-friendly transport and a healthy lifestyle.

However, the cycling attempt didn’t quite go as planned. Struggling to mount the cycle at first, DKS eventually began his ride and managed to complete one full round around the complex. But while dismounting near the Kengal Hanumanthaiah Gate, he lost balance and slipped on the steps, causing a minor fall.

Security personnel and officials present nearby rushed to help him up. Fortunately, there were no injuries. The Deputy CM, known for his candid nature, laughed off the incident, joking with the media, “Don’t show this, please. If you do, keep quiet about it!”

Despite his request, the humorous moment quickly became the talk of the town, with videos and photos surfacing on social media. While the slip was minor, DKS’s good-humored reaction won hearts online, with many praising his willingness to take such initiatives and his down-to-earth demeanor.
