Trailing Mahadevapura, the East Zone collected ₹710.31 crore, contributing 16.58% of the total revenue. The South Zone secured third place with ₹606.48 crore (14.15%). Other notable contributors include the West Zone with ₹483.67 crore (11.29%), Bommanahalli at ₹418.78 crore (9.78%), and Yelahanka with ₹408.29 crore (9.53%).

Lower on the chart were RR Nagar at ₹335.72 crore (7.83%) and Dasarahalli with ₹136.20 crore (3.18%). The BBMP Head Office recorded the lowest tax revenue, collecting just ₹36.36 crore (0.85%). Notably, most payments were made online, with only ₹56.70 crore collected offline.

BBMP reportedly confirmed this year’s collection is the highest ever, with hopes of achieving the ₹5,200 crore target by March 2025. Despite incentives such as the One-Time Settlement (OTS) scheme, which offered waivers on penalties and a 5% rebate for timely payments, the response has been lukewarm.

The OTS scheme has ended, and BBMP will now resume recovering property taxes with penalties and interest.
