Rohit Shetty announced Nia Sharma as first contestant for BB18

In an exciting revelation during the grand finale of Khatron Ke Khiladi 14 (KKK 14), host Rohit Shetty announced Nia Sharma as the first confirmed contestant for the highly anticipated Bigg Boss season 18. The show, hosted by Bollywood superstar Salman Khan, is set to premiere on October 6, 2024.

The grand finale of Khatron Ke Khiladi 14, which aired on September 29, saw Karan Veer Mehra clinching victory and taking home a prize of Rs 20 lakh and a brand-new car. Krishna Shroff finished as the runner-up in the nail-biting competition. The star-studded event featured appearances from Alia Bhatt, Vedang Raina, Bharti Singh, and Kashmera Shah, adding a touch of glamour to the occasion.

During the finale, Rohit Shetty surprised the audience by confirming Nia Sharma’s participation in the upcoming season of Bigg Boss. Known for turning down previous offers, this will be the first time Nia will be part of the controversial reality show. The actress previously appeared as a guest on Bigg Boss OTT and has participated in other reality shows like Khatron Ke Khiladi 8 and Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 9.

Season 18, themed “Time Ka Tandav,” is expected to feature a dynamic mix of contestants, including Shilpa Shirodkar, Shoaib Ibrahim, and Nyraa Bannerjee.
