According to the complaint, Kashish had kept the money in an envelope inside a locker at her Andheri West home. The amount was meant to be deposited into her mother’s bank account. She later found the envelope empty and suspected one of her domestic staff members. When she questioned him, a bundle of cash allegedly fell from his pocket. The situation escalated when she tried to use her phone to call for help.

Kashish alleged that she was physically assaulted and pinned against the wall. The man reportedly threatened her, told her not to inform anyone, and then fled the house. She later contacted her building security and managed to get him back under the pretext of resolving the issue. The police were then alerted and an FIR was registered.

The accused claimed he had only taken ₹50,000, but the full amount remains missing. Investigations are ongoing. Kashish Kapoor is currently in Singapore for professional work, and police efforts to recover the money continue.
