Bigg Boss Telugu 8 set for grand launch with star-studded guest lineup

The highly anticipated season of Bigg Boss Telugu is set to premiere its eighth edition with a grand launch on September 1st. Returning to host the show once again is Akkineni Nagarjuna, promising a season filled with "limitless entertainment" following the success of the previous 'ulta-pulta' edition.

This season's grand opening will feature a star-studded lineup, with popular actors Nani, Rana Daggubati, SJ Suryah, and Nivetha Thomas appearing as special guests. These celebrities are set to promote their upcoming films 'Saripodhaa Sanivaaram' and '35 Oka Chinna Katha Kaadu.' Notably, this isn't Nani's first time on the Bigg Boss stage, as he previously hosted the second season of the show.

The launch day will see 14 contestants entering the Bigg Boss house, with additional contestants joining during the fifth week. The season also introduces wild card entries, including former contestants from previous seasons, a first for the show. Names like Anchor Shiva, Nayani Pavani, and Shobha Shetty are being speculated for these spots.

Arjun Ambati will be hosting 'Bigg Boss Buzz,' a segment dedicated to exit interviews with evicted housemates. The list of confirmed participants includes Aditya Om, Bezawada Bebakka, Abhay Naveen, Yashmi Gowda, and others.

The grand launch will air on Star Maa at 7 PM, with live streaming available on Disney Plus Hotstar.
