Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, who turned a year older today June 5, maintains a steadfast approach to governance and personal discipline that sets him apart. Known for his firm stance on Hindutva and decisive leadership, Yogi has become a symbol of good governance and development. Despite being the longest-serving CM of Uttar Pradesh, he does not celebrate his birthday.

Under his leadership, Uttar Pradesh has seen significant changes—most notably, the successful hosting of the 2025 Mahakumbh and a relentless crackdown on corruption, crime, and the mafia. His tenure also saw the completion of the grand Shri Ram Temple in Ayodhya, a milestone praised by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Many view him as a future Prime Minister.
Yogi’s daily routine is deeply spiritual. He rises at 4 a.m., performs hour-long puja, and when in Gorakhpur, personally feeds over 500 cows in the Gaushala. He practices Satvik worship, steering clear of tantra-mantra or intoxicants.
His lifestyle is minimalist—he owns just 10 pairs of saffron clothes, tailored locally, and lives amid saffron-hued surroundings. He consumes a simple vegetarian diet, avoids onion, garlic, tea, and coffee, and prefers food prepared in the Gorakhnath monastery kitchen.
From spiritual rigor to administrative efficiency, Yogi Adityanath blends tradition with governance, making him a standout figure in Indian politics.
