Puneeth, a 21-year-old BJP worker from Bengaluru, was killed following a violent altercation at a farmhouse in Ramanagara, Karnataka, on October 26. The incident occurred after a group of men allegedly attempted to film women in a private setting, sparking a confrontation that escalated into violence.

According to reports, Puneeth was with friends Vasanth, Likith, Ujwal, Rakshita, and Prajna at the farmhouse when three men, identified as Chandu, Nagesh, and Murali, intruded around 10:30 p.m. Allegedly, the intruders tried to video-record the women who were in the swimming pool, leading to immediate resistance from the group. A heated argument ensued, followed by a physical fight, during which the intruders reportedly attacked Puneeth and his friends.

In the course of the clash, Puneeth suffered severe head injuries after being struck with a club. Despite efforts by his friends to rush him to a nearby hospital, the attackers allegedly attempted to prevent his admission for medical treatment. Authorities were notified afterward, but Puneeth succumbed to his injuries due to extensive blood loss.
