BMTC buses operating on the NICE Road have set a historic record, earning Rs 1 crore within a month in November. Launched on December 23, 2023, these buses have quickly become a popular mode of transport, with nearly 3 lakh passengers using the service since its inception.

The buses, which operate from 6 am to 9 pm, provide convenient connectivity across Bengaluru, including destinations like Electronics City Wipro Gate. The service runs at regular intervals of every 10 minutes, making it a highly efficient option for commuters.

In November alone, BMTC earned Rs 1,09,73,615 from the NICE Road bus services, with an average of 10,000 passengers using the service daily. This surge in demand highlights the growing popularity and importance of this new route, which has made several key locations in Bengaluru more accessible for daily commuters.

With this achievement, BMTC has proven the demand for reliable, efficient public transport options in the city. The success of the NICE Road buses serves as a promising sign for future expansions and improvements to Bengaluru’s public transport network.
