The Bengaluru Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) has announced special metro feeder buses to facilitate visitor travel for Chitra Santhe, the city's renowned annual art fair. These services will operate on Sunday, January 5, 2025, to ensure smooth access to the Karnataka Chitrakala Parishath on Kumara Krupa Road, the event’s venue.

Feeder buses will run from 5 AM to 9 PM, with a frequency of every 10 minutes, catering to the anticipated surge in commuters. The BMTC has set a flat fare of Rs 15 for these services, offering an affordable and convenient travel option for art enthusiasts attending the fair.
To enhance connectivity, buses will ply from two key locations: Kempegowda Bus Station (Majestic) and Mantri Mall Metro Station. The route from Majestic will pass through Vidhana Soudha, Central Talkies, Anand Rao Circle, and Sivananda Stores before reaching the venue. Similarly, buses from Mantri Mall Metro Station will follow the same route, ensuring seamless transit for passengers.
Chitra Santhe, celebrated for showcasing diverse artworks by artists from across the country, attracts thousands of visitors annually. To manage the expected crowd efficiently, the BMTC’s metro feeder buses aim to minimize congestion and promote the use of public transport.
