BMTC to unveil 5 new metro-feeder routes from August 1st

  • ITPL metro station, Kadugodi Metro Station, Kannamanagala metro station and Agara bus stand covered
  • The buses will commence right in the morning between 5:30 to 6:00
  • The buses would function up till 10:00 pm to 10:30 pm

The BMRCL (Bengaluru Metro Rail Corporation) conducted trail runs between Kengeri and Challagatta on July 26th. By the end of August, full connectivity will be provided between Kengeri and Whitefield. This is anticipated to have a relief on the traffic congestion that the city of Bengaluru faces. 

In line with this vision, the BMTC (Bangalore Metro Transport Corporation) has unveiled 5 new Metro- feeder routes that would be functional from August 1st. This is envisioned to provide first mile and last line connectivity to metro passengers. 

2 of these buses are designated for the ITPL (Information Technology Park Limited) metro station. MF-1G and MF-1GA will cover Hopeform, Channasandra, Nagaondanahallli, Immadihalli and the Whitefield post office. 2 MF-1K buses have been designated to provide connectivity for Kadugodi Metro Station and the Kannamanagala metro station. It will cover Beltur, Seegehalli and Kannamagala gate. HSR FDR-1 and HSR FDR-1A have been provided to provide connectivity for the Agara bus stand. It will cover Paranagipalya, Mangammanapalya and McDonalds. 

The buses will commence right in the morning between 5:30 to 6:00. The buses would function up till 10:00 pm to 10:30 pm. The BMTC reaffirmed its commitment to providing affordable and reliable transportation facilities to its commuters in its press release.
